HAPPY NEW YEAR! DREAM BIG IN 2021

Well there's another year in the books. And what a year it has been! I could sit here and tell you about all the bad that came from this year, but you already know what's going on in the world you don't need me to summarize it for you. 
And I'm not going to talk about New Years resolutions, because we all know how those go.  Tell me if I'm right on this. This is how "Resolutions" go, we make a list of "things I'm going to or not going to do this next year", and then come February and we start to fall back into our old habits not even realizing it and before you know it those resolutions are forgotten. 
What if instead of "resolution" we have DREAMS! Dreams are so much better because they don't limit you. They take you places!   I feel like if we have dreams we take them more serious.  We set goals, we work harder, we focus on them more. I think people like to focus on "resolutions" rather than "Dreams" because dreams are more scary.  If you fall short on your resolution it's really no big deal to most people, because in reality what does it matter if you didn't lose that extra 30 pounds, you can live with yourself. And so what if you didn't slow you spending to save for that new whatever you wanted, you didn't really need it anyway.  But if you fall short on your dream then your dream is crushed and what do you have to dream about then.    And that is why is scares you! It's easier to just keep those dreams to yourself think "one day I will make my dream come true." or "if God wanted that dream for me He would make it happen" But if you never start planning to make that dream come true because your scared, how will it become a reality? Plus God wants you to put in the effort as well. 
I've had lots of dreams over the years. Some of them didn't turn out quite like I thought they would (because I believe they were not part of Gods plan for me) and some of them ended up bigger than I could have ever imagined.  Some dreams changed through out the coarse of my life. Some dreams are my husbands dreams and I fall in love with them and make them my dream as well. I continue to dream. I dream bigger every time. The dreams get scarier and harder, but I will continue to dream and set goals that scare me and excite me at the same time because I have big dreams. Most of them involve the farm. I will share some of those dreams with you throughout the year. So stay tuned ;)
So my advise to you for this coming year is, don't have New Years Resolutions, DREAM! And DREAM BIG! First and foremost PRAY about your dream, then, set goals, stay focused, plan, work hard at them and BELIEVE! Believe in your dream, believe in your self and believe that God has a hand in it. Because if it is part of His plan for your life it will be bigger than anything you ever imagined. 

Take delight in the Lord,and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this Psalm 37:4-5
